CVS Health partners with Google Cloud to launch AI-powered Health100 platform

CVS Health announced a partnership with Alphabet’s Google Cloud to introduce an artificial intelligence-powered healthcare platform called Health100, designed to help customers manage their health in real time by integrating data from multiple sources.

The platform will function as an integrated healthcare engagement system, allowing consumers to access services regardless of which pharmacy, healthcare provider or insurance company they use.

Health100 is expected to launch initially in 2026, with additional details set to be unveiled later this month during The Check Up, Google’s annual healthcare-focused event.

According to CVS Health executives, the platform will use agentic AI technology that requires minimal human oversight, acting as an always-available digital healthcare companion for users. The system will connect pharmacies, healthcare providers, benefit managers and digital health platforms into a single consumer-focused ecosystem.

The mobile platform will also include visual and voice-based AI interactions, enabling users to search for healthcare options, access faster care services and potentially reduce out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Health100 will be powered by Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure, including technologies such as Gemini models, Cloud Healthcare API and BigQuery, which together support multimodal AI capabilities and data interoperability across healthcare systems.

To ensure patient privacy and security, the system will rely on Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure alongside CVS Health’s data protection policies, designed to comply with healthcare privacy regulations.

The collaboration reflects a growing trend of technology and healthcare companies working together to build AI-driven tools aimed at improving patient engagement, streamlining healthcare services and delivering more personalized care experiences.
