We are looking for a talented Software Development Manager to build fast, scalable and reliable systems while leading a high-performing engineering team. You should be a hands-on technical leader with experience across the software development lifecycle, passionate about hiring, mentoring and growing engineers while fostering an AI-first engineering culture.

A Day in the Life

• Partner with product and engineering leaders to define and plan projects.
• Manage project planning, execution, tracking and delivery.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders.
• Contribute to product vision, technical strategy and long-term goals.
• Mentor engineers on technical design, prioritization and architecture decisions.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of system design and architecture experience focused on scalability and reliability.
• 8+ years of experience developing multi-tier web services.
• Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build systems, testing and production operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience communicating technical designs and product strategy to engineering teams, users and senior leadership.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching and managing software engineering teams.
