About the Team
The Seller Registration organization develops globally distributed services responsible for seller onboarding and identity verification. The team builds scalable registration platforms, real-time identity validation systems, and intelligent automation frameworks that simplify onboarding while supporting global expansion. Engineers work with stateless microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed databases, and cloud-native technologies to deliver secure, reliable, and highly available systems.
What You'll Work On
- Design and build globally distributed systems with high scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Develop stateless microservices and event-driven architectures for cross-region communication.
- Build high-throughput, low-latency identity verification and fraud prevention services.
- Design scalable data models supporting multi-region operations and global seller onboarding.
- Implement secure identity management solutions and distributed transaction workflows.
- Optimize cross-regional data consistency, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing.
- Maintain cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence.
- Drive technical innovation while balancing scalability, security, and performance.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Apply strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Lead end-to-end system design for large-scale distributed applications.
- Build products and platforms from the ground up.
- Take ownership of technical initiatives and deliver business-critical solutions.
- Drive enterprise architecture and solution architecture decisions.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience in at least one modern programming language.
- 5+ years of experience designing and architecting scalable, reliable, and distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience across the complete software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build systems, testing, deployment, and production operations.
